A new product developed in conjunction with Beta-LED USA, enabling Minor Street Lighting to be power by the sun for the first time. In the past the amount of light produced by Solar Powered lights has not met the Australian Standards for Street Lighting. But with the development of a new LED Luminaire Pecan Lighting has been able to produce this lighting system which has the potential to revolutionise Street Lighting.
Unlike a traditional Stand Alone Solar Light a Grid Tied LED Solar Light is:
Connected to mains powerDoes not require a battery!
Generates energy when the sun shines, Exports energy to the electricity grid
Consumes energy at night, as per a conventional street light.
Is totally reliable and has a very long life expectancy.
Uses LED lamps which are much more energy efficient and contain no hazardous materials (ie mercury vapour)
